Introduction To Budo Martial Arts Federation India


Budo Martial Art Federation India was funded in 30th June 2005 by Dr. Sudhakaran T. Panikar, during a meeting with Masters of Martial Arts in Pune. Mr. K Sundaran and Mr. Shanmugam from Karnataka, , Mr. Saeed shaikh from Madhya Pradesh, Anisingh Thakur from Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Nazar Soni from Gujarat, Mr. P.M. George, Mr. Thomas Sebastian, Mr. Prabhu Das, Mr. Omkar Panikar from Kerala, Mr. Brahmanand from Goa, Mr. K. Vasant Kumar from Telangana

Mr. Ulaganathan from Bangalore, Mr. Gulzar Ahmed from Jammu-Kashmir, Mr. Ashish Bhardwaj from Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Faiyaz Ahmed from Srinagar, Mr. Sarvananan from Andra Pradesh decided to form a Martial Arts federation on national level and all of them agreed to name the federation as " BUDO MARTIAL ARTS FEDERATION INDIA". The national level organization was formed and was registered by charity commissioner Maharashtra and affiliated by World martial art Federation. Dr. Panikar has recieved PHD 6- Dan degree in budo martial arts from WBF

Various People and senior martial arts trainers from other states showed interest in joining the organisation and approached the BMFI National President Dr. Sudhakaran Panikar. Till Today 22 states of India have been registered and approved under our federation. Affiliated by 2013 Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan an autonomous body under the Ministry of youth affairs and sports Government of India and affiliated by 2014 School Games under Government of Maharashtra state.
