||The referee points the first upward at 45 degrees in the direction of offender then motions out and behind with announcement "Aka (Shirro) Shikkaku!". He then announces a win for the opponent.

||For category 1 offences, the Referee turns towords the offender and crosses his arms at chest level. For category 2 offences, the Referee points his index fingure(armed bend), at the face of the offender.
||Warning with IPPON penaulty
||The Referee indicates a category 1 or 2 offence then points with his index fingure downwords at 45 degrees in the direction of offender and awards Ippon (one point) to the Opponent.
||Warning with Nihon penaulty
||The Referee indicates a category 1 or 2 offence then points with his index fingure horizontally in the direction of offender and awards Nihon (two points) to the Opponent.
||The Referee indicates a category 1 or 2 offence then points with his index fingure upwords 45 degrees in the direction of offender and announces a win for Opponent.
